As we drove south this past Sunday, we noted a flag on the side of Route 29 at Rebec Winery that said “Open”! We drove down the quaint winding driveway to the weathered old barn which welcomed us. Stepping inside, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Svet Kanev. He was very knowledgeable, patient and generous with his product as well as the history of his journey to his Amherst vineyard.
